There are a few 'reduce and reuse' sites that allow people to recycle their unwanted goods to avoid more landfill site waste.
Freecycle, is a Yahoo Group available in various Canadian and American cities which you join and then just start to reuse your goods plus request stuff that you need as well.
These groups are about spreading kindness to your neighbours and community, plus reducing the waste that we produce. Remember one man's junk is another man's treasure.
